O poveste emotionanta despre doua personaje putin probabile sa trezeasca de la inceput simpatie: un ucigas platit si un copil problema. Iata insa ca, multumita regizorului Luc Beson, dar si a actorilor Jean Reno si Natalie Porman filmul trateaza cu succes povestea unei prietenii intre cei doi, si intimplarile tragice care le vor schimba definitiv viata. Personajul negativ interpretat de Gary Oldman este unul din punctele forte ale filmului, recitalul actoricesc fiind unul de exceptie.
